After 16 days spent together throughout the hills of Germany, the beaches of Italy, the mountains of Austria & the streets of Paris, my sisters fly home to the US today. These two weeks have meant more to me than I’ll ever be able to put into words. But I thought I’d try. (Brace yourself for the 🧀- at least you didn’t have to watch me write this through tears in my German class 😂 Poor people think I’m crazy...and rightfully so 😅💗) Together we’re better Than ever apart As long as you’re with me We’ll never depart I’ll carry you always Right here in my heart Because you’re my sisters Best friends from the start In time we’ll go places Though not always together You’ll stay here held close Come hell or rough weather You’ve known me for years And I’ve loved you for more Our days filled with sunshine No matter the storm In our house in Missouri Or elsewhere no worries When we’re together I’m home It’s not just a saying Laughter with you Is a language we speak Sometimes even tears But it’s not cause we’re weak Even when you go I know you’re not leaving I’ll remember you’re always A call away when I’m needy You give me more life More reason for living You’re my twins my best gifts And on this note I’m ending You grow me You know me Together the same I’ll love you forever Because forever you’ll stay For Annie, Allie & Kadie. The best sisters a girl could ever ask for. Now come back y’all, ya hear?!
