LONDON Trend Watch

I'm a small town gal from Missouri and I've got eyes. Here's what I've been seeing (and wearing) on these big city streets.

1. PANTS

COOL PANTS are in. I can't tell you how many girls have literally made my jaw drop at the insane level of COOL their pants were. From bold prints, structured legs to super flare throwbacks, I've seen pants on every corner. (And you can probably still find my bottom jaw on the corner of The Strand and A301.)

2. SNEAKERS

Air Force One's, Vans, Golden Goose, Gucci everything, Dad Shoes...all the sneakers. With pants, skirts, dresses and grandmas alike.

3. SKIRTS - Yeah. We're all wearing 'em. Pleats, silky, and cotton mini, midi and maxis galore. Material I didn't even know could be made into a skirt is a skirt now.

4. MAXIS

After all these chocolate croissants and fish and chips, ya girl is PUMPED that maxis are IN. Give me all the fabric and flow this season. Even better, gals here are layering with turtlenecks AND sweaters (AT THE SAME TIME) so -0.0 skin has to be shown. Count me in!

5. SWEATERS

Bulky, cropped, straight, dresses, cardigans - All the sweaters all the time. Are they trendy or are we all just lazy? Lazy but make it fashion.

6. ANIMAL PRINT EVERYTHING

All the prints all at once. If you think you have enough animal print, think again. Mix 'em up and rock on party animal. Every store on every block is drenched in this trend. My closet looks like a zoo and I just can't seem to have enough. Just when I think I've exhausted the trend, I keep going back for more. It's a problem. Help.

7. Also puppies. Always puppies. I need a puppy.
