You may not feel like you have all of the answers You may not know where you are or how you got there in the first place Maybe it’s dark And you’re afraid Wondering what’s around the corner And how you’re going to get through the day Maybe you feel like you’re drowning Being buried by the pressure Maybe you feel like you’re being pushed through the mud Knowing you’ll never measure Up to the expectations of others Maybe to the expectations of yourself Or maybe you’re feeling the pressure of others successes And wondering where are your own Or maybe just maybe you’re simply feeling....alone. But just know sweet friend that the biggest plants take the longest to grow the longest to root the longest to sprout through the surface and into the light What’s going on beneath the surface is on a set time table one we don’t know and one we often question But the One who plants us, the One who nurtures us into life is the One who knows exactly what we are - and whose we are. His A flower may lasts for a few days, (maybe a week if you’re lucky) but a firmly rooted tree with give life for generations Let’s be the people who are content with the waiting - content with our current places (regardless of how dark & scary) and reliant on the One who calls us to life abundant. Growth happens at every stage. In the ground. And in the open. When we’re new, And when we’re old. But one thing I know for sure: “When God seems silent, He is not still.”
